Our graduates are highly sought after by employers and are known as leaders in their field.  Fresno Pacific offers over 45 areas of study and more than 50 study abroad opportunities that prepare students for careers in everything from psychology to teaching to business. Our campus community is centered on Christ. Spiritual life is not a separate category at Fresno Pacific University – it is intricately woven through majors, classes, dorms, athletic teams, Bible studies, music groups, clubs, intramurals, drama, friendships, ministries…the list goes on. Ultimately, it is a part of each person’s life here – faculty, staff and students.

Reason 3: Financial Aid

A university education is an investment that lasts a lifetime. Determining how you will finance it can be stressful. However, we believe that a high quality education can be affordable. Fresno Pacific offers a variety of federal, state and private financial aid programs to assist students who would benefit from an education but need financial aid. Such students are encouraged to apply for assistance. More than 97 percent of FPU students receive financial assistance in the form of loans, grants, scholarships and many on-campus employment opportunities.

Reason 4: FPU Sunbird Athletics

Sports are a big part of our campus life. Fresno Pacific is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), giving you a chance to compete in one of our eight men’s or eight women’s teams. We have several national championship teams, including our 2007 women’s volleyball NAIA champions. We also offer intramural sports, so everyone can get involved and have fun.

Reason 5: Fresno

There’s plenty to do on and off our campus. Fresno is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley and is the sixth largest city in the state. Fresno offers a mix of cultural, entertainment and recreational opportunities. You can experience the variety of museums, restaurants and festivals, as well as the outdoor opportunities at the surrounding lakes, rivers and foothills. Enjoy swimming in the summer and snowboarding in the winter!
